In the course of our (German spoken) parrallel annual section meeting in Dornach we regularly want to give room also for a meeting of our worldwide co-workers and members – i.e. for those who, for various reasons, can’t make it for Dornach. This is one of the positive lessons we learned during the pandemic: that we don´t need to travel to meet – at least via the internet. Thus, I warmly invite you to an online meeting:

Social Sciences Section Work Worldwide

Saturday, March 12th of 2022, 5.00 pm to 6.45 pm Central European Time (CET)
Language: English

The Zoom Call will take place within the conference here at the Goetheanum. This meeting shall build up on last year’s encounter and strengthen our common endeavor. According to my understanding: The Social Sciences Section is not just at the Goetheanum in Dornach. The section is worldwide. It lives through the inner work and the striving, connection and cooperation of a growing number of free individuals around the world with the wish of working together on the basis of Anthroposophy to understand, meet and – if possible – contribute to the solution of the urgent social questions of our time.

Program for Saturday, March 12th, 2022, 5 pm to 6.45 pm:

Platform: ZoomRegister here

This time we will have 105 minutes for our section work worldwide. We would be happy if we could get an impression and understanding of how the situation is in each of the places, how the groups and individuals organize their work under the present circumstances, what new questions, insights, aims and approaches might come out of this time and what we/you see as important for the future.

The School of Spiritual Science is responsible for research in the spiritual field, for stimulating and dealing with practical questions and for continuing education in anthroposophically oriented fields of work. Today the university is divided into one general anthroposophical section and ten specialist sections. The work is based on the course in the humanities held by Rudolf Steiner in 1924 for the members of the university as part of their first class. The university has its headquarters and coordination centre at the Goetheanum and its work takes place worldwide in the contexts in which members of the university are active.
